CAPTAIN BEANY'S 5K CHARITY FAMILY RUN

FLAT 5K ALONG ABERAVON SEA FRONT

£15 ADULTS
£10 CHILDREN
£8 VITRUAL

This is our first 5k charity event in support of the Margam YC Stag Inclusion Football team. They aim to encourage children from all backgrounds both able bodied and disabled into playing football. This includes children from poorer backgrounds and those with low self esteem. 100% of all profits will go to the charity and we will not be making any money from this event.

Our good friend Captain Beany will be there to start the race and present good bags and medals.
Every entrant will receive a super cool 3d effect baked bean themed medal and a goody bag full of lovely surprises.
Minimum age is recommended as 5 but all children MUST be accompanied by an adult for the entire run. Children will not be allowed to run without an adult to supervise them.

We are encouraging everyone to either wear orange in honour of Captain Beany, or to wear a super hero costume. There will be prizes on the day for the best costumes.

The 5k will run along the promenade and onto the lower levels.

There will be marshals on course and First Aid cover. The event is supported by the LEA who have given us permission to use the sea front.

There is also a virtual option for those who cannot attend on the day but would like to support this wonderful charity.
